Speedlight flashes allow you to have a studio quality set up without the bulk and weight of a full studio system. I will show you the real benefits of speedlights over studio mono blocks and how to use them creatively. The workshop lasts for one day and you will learn everything you will need to know to produce professional looking images. We will start by learning about the benefits of using full manual control with speedlights and how to use groups to set up two Canon 580 exMk2 flashguns with soft boxes and lighting stands. I will also demonstrate hard lighting using the zoom function on the flashguns. We will then move onto ETTL auto mode, radio triggers and infrared triggers. I will show you all the equipment you really need to buy, and all the equipment you can leave in the shop. You will have the opportunity to use the equipment we have available and ask as many questions as you like.
