I started photography at the age of 16 when I bought my first camera (A yachica SLR) and a couple of lenses. After using the camera for about a week I was completely hooked on photography and read every magazine that was available from amateur photographer to The British Journal Of Photography. I knew from an early stage that I would like to have a photography business one day, but had no idea about business or marketing. I kept thinking (like most photographers) that one day I would get published in a magazine and this would start my career. In early 1997 I started a course that would change everything. I studied fine art photography and worked in black and white exclusively for the next five years. My work was meticulously scrutinised by my tutor (which I thank him for today) and photography started to become a bit to serious………….
