Digital SLR Photography Course for Beginners
"How to use your digital SLR and start taking better photographs"
You will learn
- How to use manual mode
- Using shutter speeds
- How aperture values change your images
- What ISO is and when to change settings
- The histogram / light meter / exposure
- Focussing your camera accurately
If you are about to buy your first digital SLR, or you have just opened the box, this course is ideal for you. The aim of the course is to show you how little photography has changed over the past one hundred years. The equipment has completely changed but the basics of photography are still the same. We will work with your Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Pentax or Samsung SLR to help you understand the basics of digital photography. This will give you the knowledge to understand exposure and use your camera and then you will have full control to use your camera creatively.
If you are a keen amateur photographer or a beginner you will learn allot of techniques that will allow you to improve your photography. As cameras have become more automated the basics of photography have been lost. But as most professional photographers will tell you without an understanding of shutter speeds, apertures, ISO, the histogram, exposure, composition and focussing accurately you will never master digital photography. This course will give you all these skills.

| "I now use manual mode all the time and never have the camera on automatic. I find it is much better being in complete control over the aperture to change the depth of field" |
"I found it so much better having one to one tuition.
Two hours every month have made a big difference to my photography" |
|
| "I thought that professional photographers would use auto mode but you showed me how combining a complete manual workflow is much easier and allot faster from capture to print" |
